Rivers + Roads is an initiative sponsored by the Somerset Community Foundation (SCF), led by Kym Dunleap & Erin Hoff (members of SCF) and a strong steering committee; working in collaboration with Bridging Somerset (a Somerset Chamber of Commerce initiative to bring together community leaders and organizations to create a coordinated community strategic plan, working together for smart growth for Somerset's future: https://www.somersetchamber.org/bridging-somerset-group/).

Rivers + Roads is an initiative where members of the public are invited to engage in the growth process by participating in hour-long listening sessions where community members share their own individual stories with each other and listen to others' stories, focused on the types of things we care about in Somerset and our individual visions for what we would like Somerset's future to be.  

Our mantra is "Sharing, Listening, and Working Together while Collaborating to Create our Community's Path to Tomorrow."  The data collected from our listening sessions will drive the SCF's work for the next few years and bring credibility to SCF's commitment to the community.
